Sto’s core business—the manufacture of exterior wall insulation systems makes a significant contribution to climate and environmental protection: Thanks to Sto systems installed on buildings approximately 155 billion liters of heating oil will have been saved by 2025. As a result, around 697 million metric tons of CO2 were prevented from entering the atmosphere in the first place. In 2025 alone, Sto products are estimated to have reduced CO2 emissions by 26 million metric tons.
