How can I object to the processing and disclosure of my data?
You can only use certain services on heinze.de if you have consented to the processing and forwarding of your data. This includes, for example, registering for the Klimafestival or requesting information from a manufacturer of building and furnishing products.
If you wish to object to the publication, forwarding or storage of your data, or if you wish your data to be blocked for further processing, please contact Heinze GmbH customer service in writing, by fax or e-mail. If your data is blocked, your heinze.de registration will also be cancelled.
If you no longer wish to receive the Heinze newsletter, you can cancel the Heinze newsletter either by using the unsubscribe link in the footer of the newsletter e-mail or by sending an informal e-mail to Heinze GmbH customer service.
Who can I contact if I have a complaint?

How can I receive my data from you in electronic form?
You have the right to submit a request for data portability so that we can provide you with your personal data that we have stored electronically in electronic form. To do so, please send your request in writing, by fax or e-mail to Heinze GmbH Customer Service.
Klimafestival
What will my data be processed for and on what legal basis?
At the Klimafestival, we offer you the opportunity to get to know the product innovations of several manufacturers of building products over two days and to take part in the programme.
We use the matchmaking process to bring you into contact with festival partners in your areas of interest in a targeted manner. This involves comparing the main topics of the exhibitors with your main areas of work and interests in order to find the best possible match.
We store and process your data for the organisation of the event and use it anonymously for statistical purposes. We will inform you about other similar events organised by Heinze GmbH in the future
Which of my data will be processed?
You will only be asked for data that we need to organise the events. The following data will be processed:
- Your personal data (salutation, title, name, e-mail address),
- Company details (name, address, company type, company size),
- Your (areas of) interest in the question catalogue for the matchmaking process,
- Your payment details
Who will receive my data?
In individual cases, participating exhibitors will receive the above-mentioned data (except for payment details) so that they can contact you individually. The following individual cases may occur:
Lead registration by marking programme items and exhibitors on the website as well as on site by scanning at the stand and when participating in selected programme items
Participation in networking options (interest matchmaking and similar)
Exhibitors are generally based within the EU or the European Economic Area. However, it is also possible that some companies are based in a third country.
How long will my data be stored?
Your data will be stored by us until you object, but at least until the expiry of the retention obligations under commercial law.
Note:
Please note that images and video recordings will be made during the events for reporting on the events. We base this on our legitimate interest (Art. 6 para. 1 (f) GDPR) in reporting on the event on our internet portals and in our print publications. In addition, we also make the image and video recordings
to the exhibitors of the Klimafestival
for reporting purposes. The exhibitors rely on their legitimate interest (Art. 6 para. 1 (f) GDPR) in reporting on their presentation at the events.
In this context, you have the right to object to the processing of the image and video recordings that show you at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation in accordance with Art. 21 para. 1 GDPR. If you file an objection, we will no longer process the corresponding image and video recordings unless we can prove compelling reasons for the processing that outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims.
You can send your objection to Heinze GmbH's customer service department with the subject line ‘Objection to image and video recordings’, stating the event, the image or video, your name and your (e-mail) address.

What is my data processed for and on what legal basis?
With our newsletters, we regularly inform you about new products, tender texts, CAD details and architectural objects as well as interesting events and exclusive special topics.
To enable us to provide you with our service, we need your consent to use your data to send you the newsletter.
Which of my data will be processed?
We need your first name, surname, title, professional function and your e-mail address.
Who will receive my data?
Your data will not be transmitted to any third parties.
How long will my data be stored?
Your data will be stored by us until you unsubscribe or for a maximum of 1 year after the last use.

What other information obligations are there?
Am I obliged to provide data?
No, you are not obliged to use our services. All the information you provide is voluntary.
Is my data used to make automated decisions in individual cases (scoring)?
No, no automated individual case decisions are necessary for our services. That is why we do not carry out any.
Will the purpose for which my data is collected change in the future?
No, there are currently no plans to change the purpose. However, should this be necessary at some point to improve our services, we will inform you in good time beforehand.
