- Lucio Blandini is an engineer and architect with a particular interest in sustainable lightweight construction systems and the interplay between architecture, civil engineering, and technology. After 15 years of experience as a structural and facade engineer at Werner Sobek AG, he took over as director of ILEK in 2020. Among other things, he is responsible for concrete research at the University of Stuttgart’s IntCDC Cluster of Excellence.
