- Dirk Baune, Technical Applications Manager for Austrotherm XPS, has extensive expertise in thermal insulation, cold insulation, sound insulation and fire protection. He is also a member of the Technical Committee of the Fachverband Extruderschaumstoff (FPX) and the Bundesverband GebäudeGrün e.V. (BuGG). Furthermore, he contributes to the work of the German Institute for Standardization (DIN) and serves as the contact person for XPS insulation materials at the German Sustainable Building Council
