The Federal Foundation for Baukultur promotes sustainable planning and construction through publications, events, and good examples. The goal is a Baukultur that equally considers ecological, economic, design, and social aspects, as well as process quality.
What do we do and what are our areas of activity?
Since 2007, the Federal Foundation of Baukultur has promoted Baukultur interests and aimed to anchor the quality of the built environment as an issue of public interest. The foundation advocates good planning and building and acts as an independent interface that consolidates and expands existing networks. The Baukultur Report is published every two years as an official status report on planning and construction in Germany. The 2024/25 “Infrastructure” report deals with the maintenance, conversion, design and further development of our infrastructures as one of the most important challenges currently facing our society.
