: Through the EMICODE® labeling system, it is possible to comparatively evaluate building products according to their emission behavior. The labeling system has developed internationally and across product groups into a central quality standard. Since 1997, over 20,000 products have been awarded the EMICODE® seal.This provides consumers, tradespeople, and architects with guidance as to which products offer the high safety against indoor air pollution.

: The GEV’s primary mission is to promote consumer, labor, and environmental protection in the field of construction chemical products. The GEV pursues a policy of open communication and supports cross-manufacturer collaboration with all industry partners. Progress toward a healthy living environment can only be achieved if consumers, tradespeople, and manufacturers work together and collectively prioritize low-emission, high-quality products.
