INTRODUCTION
- Through the EMICODE® labeling system, it is possible to comparatively evaluate installation materials and construction products according to their emission behavior and at the same time provide an incentive to further improve the products.
The trademark-protected labeling system has developed internationally and across product groups into a central quality standard. Since the introduction of EMICODE® in 1997, over 15,000 products from around the world have been awarded the EMICODE® seal.
This provides consumers, tradespeople, and architects with guidance as to which products offer the highest possible safety against indoor air pollution and guarantee maximum health protection and high environmental compatibility.
