INTRODUCTION

Catifa Carta, developed in collaboration with PaperShell, features a pioneering shell made from layered paper and a biogenic resin binder. The result is a long-term carbon storage and can be transformed into biochar at end-of-life—contributing to soil regeneration and carbon sequestration.

Catifa (RE) 46 is a refreshed version of our classic Catifa 46 chair, now reimagined with a shell made from post-industrial and post-consumer recycled polypropylene. This update supports circular economy principles while maintaining the chair’s lightweight profile and timeless form.
